Sale: Friday January 1, 2027 6:00 PM
1. Read general rules and regulations
2. Goats must be owned and in possession of the exhibitor in accordance with the Texas State Validation Guidelines.
3. County Only Validation-To be eligible for the county show, your goat must be validated on or before October 31st, under the supervision of the County Validation Committee with an official Mason County Livestock Show & Expo validation tag.
4. There will be 50 lb. minimum weight.
5. Breed: Any meat breed or crosses of meat breeds.
6. Horns must be tipped before arrival at the show.
7. Goats must be sheared prior to weigh-in. They must be shorn to a uniform length from the knees and hocks up.
8. Goats must be sheared at least one (1) time after December 1st. (KNEE & HOCK UP).
9. No Patch Sheering.
10. No covers or blankets to weigh in.
11. Classes will be broken by weight and divided into three divisions. The Livestock Committee will break classes as evenly as possible.
12. Any animals that are deemed unruly will automatically be sifted. All sifted animals must be removed from the barn immediately.
13. Premium sale sheets are due immediately after each show.
